Sigh! I have 3 versions of SDL installed (1,2,3), my 1.2 is too low. So i got 1.2.4 > 1.2.3.3 and note of the above have SDL_image.h nor libSDL_image*.so either. No documentation on building it or finding it and troll unanswered on riddit stackxchcrash as usual. changelog is in AUTHORS. Don't assume everybody got debian your install with idk gamelibs installed. SDL_image.h SDL_mixer.h are two different "debian dev" are small and build fail. include in your code/project. debian is messed up - you don't need those "scattered and missing to please mr.de". or include right ver in source dir to build if not put in code as debian is abandonware it doesn't support old software at all. i went ahead found SDL-1.2.4 + SDL_image+ SDL_mixer. GITHUB has removed all older so only SD2 has these - but the headers crash and conflict - bool fool and more. debian = abandonment = malware injected

Haxima is good old school (Ultima 5 like) top down 2D single player turn based RPG. If you played Ultima 5 and liked it , you feel right at home in this one too.

I finished the game. At last. The fight with the red female mage and her ogre can be evaded if a tablet is stolen from the thief instead of just asking.

As a big fan of the Ultima games and a wannabe game developer, I'd call Nazghul a dream come true. It comes with a full game, Haxima, which brings back nostalgic memories of Ultima IV or V--only this time with more modern enhancements, such as a log to keep track of quests and some fancier graphics. And besides that, if you don't like the way the game runs, you can design your own game in a fairly uncomplicated scripting language and run it with the same program. Thumbs up to the Nazghul team, and keep up the good work!
